Founded in New York City in 1957 by Anthony Russo, Sr., our company was built on a reputation of integrity and honesty. The mark of our success was evident with numerous emergency demolition jobs and many notable jobs including the demolition of the old Dodger Stadium and the Coney Island Theme Park.
In 1968 the company was brought to Florida and, as in New York, became well known. It successfully accomplished such demolitions as imploding the Martinique Hotel in North Miami Beach, and handled the demolition of numerous airport buildings and runways in what is now the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
3 GENERATIONS OF QUALITY DEMOLITION
Richard A. Hamann, grandson of Anthony Russo, Sr., became the third-generation demolition contractor in 1985, and the business has continued to flourish. The scope of work handled by Richard A. Hamann and Sons Demolition Inc. has included emergency demolition jobs for Broward County, the Hallandale Beach Water Tower, Ft. Lauderdale Soccer Stadium, and numerous private and commercial projects throughout the Tri-County area. We pride ourselves on finishing a job, “always on time and always spotless.”
